Birfield CV Axle, Land Cruiser 80 Series - w/ABS

Replacement Birfield CV Axles for the Land Cruiser 80 Series.

These are the later versions with the longer splined section that replace the early short splined versions that were prone to premature spline/drive flange wear.

Suits models with ABS.

Toyota pn:
43405-60070 (pn for longer part 246.5mm)
43405-60060 (pn for shorter part that this replaces 238.5mm)

ABS ring is not supplied - you can easily press or tap off (hammer & brass drift) your old ABS tone ring and install on it on these birfields.

Note that a small percentage of ABS rings may be very slightly loose on these birfields, you can use an adhesive (loctite) or 'peening' the surface to hold them into place.

Note 1: Use a high quality Moly fortified grease such as Moly Slip brand Moly Grease when installing these parts.

• Regular grease is not acceptable, and if used may promote rapid wear and premature failure.
• Do Not mix different grease of different types together.

Note 2: Please note that NEW drive Flanges must be installed with new birfields when being replaced/upgraded due to worn splines. pn: 43421-60040 / 041-100500

• Old, worn drive flanges will cause rapid and premature failure of the new birfield splines (and vice versa).
• Also, the early (short) birfields, use a different, shorter, drive flange - we no longer stock the short splined Birfields, but we can order them for you.
• We do have a few old stock short spline drive flanges in stock - pn: 43421-60020
