This is the alternative higher ratio for Land Cruisers with 8" high pinion differentials - typically these are replacement gears for the 70 & 80 series models where a higher top speed is desired.
The pinion shaft splines were apparently upgraded in all Toyota HP 8" gears 2002 to 29 splines from 27 splines to improve strength.
Note: This Ring & Pinion gear set does not come with a 29 spline pinion flange - order separately.
Comes as the gear set only.
