Timing Gear Idler Bolt - for 2LT-II, 2LTE, 3L and other late model L series engines.

This bolt holds the toothed timing gear idler pulley in place.

Big Important Note: This toothed timing belt idler is held in place with this special bolt and it should be replaced when doing the timing components. It is not included in the timing component kit...

Why: This bolt can occasionally break, causing the pulley to come loose - which is a really bad thing to have happen (read: expensive-bad things can happen - like valves colliding with pistons when the timing belt skips or comes off...).
